Elisa Polner
Design, Designstrategy, Art Education
Elisa Polner studied Product Design at Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar (DE) and went on to work as a designer for Katrin Greiling (DE) and mischer’traxler studio (AT), later as research assistant at the Design Collection and art educator at the MAK Vienna (AT), as well as teaching assistant at the department of space&designstrategies at Kunstuni Linz (AT).
Over the past few summers, she was part of a self-initiated series of creative residencies, further developing her own practice creating objects, concepts, experiences, installations and workshops.
In her artistic practice she often examines everyday observations from diverse perspectives, expanding, connecting or reassessing existing knowledge. Through further research, an extensive repertoire of techniques and materials, and a playful approach to experimentation, these discoveries translate into projects that tell stories, raise questions, or simply offer insight into someone else's mind.
